A glorious Saturday morning; finally get the photon out and on wheels:



The windscreen surround is not in its final position.


The front wheel arches should look pretty dramatic.

Steering needs mounting, but packs sit in comfortably.

Workshop looking a touch crowded these days...

Discovered - only after ruining a perfectly good metal bit -that you need to go through the GRP with a masonry bit first.

Arm numbing work. Looks cool, though.

Outside for the first time. Allowed myself a smile.

Now ready to put the floorpan on. I'm using GRP because it's light, I have lots of it, and it's waterproof.

Finally attached. One more side to do.

This has taken me all morning. Lathing through silver steel to 8.5mm and then tapping out to M10. This is the lower rear shock holder. Standard 10mm high tensile bolt holding the whole thing in.

120mm RHS segments for frame surround: the only way I can think of creating a curvy support from straight metal section.
