Hub bolts made a pretty long time ago.

Fruits of some amateur milling; beginning of some tee nuts (aluminium temporary), and I block for holding 30mm rod, and 30mm rod milled flat.

Ended up realising the central tunnel needs much more rigidity. Spent the morning making a brace to sit on top of it - fully triangulated, and bolted to the main frame with the tabs at the bottom.

Feeling pretty stupid that I didn't triangulate the chassis adequately in the first place. Lesson learned.

Panelling

I don't think she's looking too bad. With all the ancillary circuits in (end of the week?!), I can start on the shell.

Pedal box is mounted, feels solid. (I've added the slightly tacky aluminium pedal to make it feel like something about the car is shiny.)

The controller is also in: a full morning's work, trying to mount and crimp the lugs, then fitting the whole spaghetti mess together. This is as neat as I can get it at the moment, with the minimum of cable.

Final job of the day: mounting the steering column in a position that doesn't foul anything else. Took nearly an hour to make the jig to do it.

Work begins on the bucket seat moulds

Controller starts to come together...

Brake pedal box - the only alignment in which things would fit! Nonetheless, an effective, flex free arrangement.
